Challenge
Engaging audio narration is an excellent tool for guiding learners through complex training content. While many eLearning developers possess strong skills in adult education (androgyny), they may lack specific skills related to multimedia development, such as audio capture and editing. This absence of expertise can make the task feel daunting. Without the ability to produce high-quality audio, developers may struggle to maintain learners' focus and deliver a professional experience.

Solution
To address this challenge, I developed an online course for the Statewide Training Advisory Network of Delaware (STAND) organization. The course focuses on building confidence and skills in audio production, starting with script writing for clear narration. It also covers essential audio capture hardware, including microphones and recording setups, to ensure high-quality recordings. Finally, participants engage in hands-on practice with Audacity (open source audio editing software), learning to edit and enhance their recordings. This training empowers eLearning developers to independently produce professional audio that keeps learners engaged.
