Challenge
eLearning developers are tasked with building courses that need to capture attention, spark curiosity, and keep learners engaged. Without strong skills in multimedia software, they often find themselves limited to text-heavy slides or static graphics that fall flat compared to the interactive, media-rich experiences today’s learners expect. Instead of experimenting freely with design ideas, they’re boxed in by templates and default tools, which can make their courses feel generic or outdated. Over time, this lack of technical skill not only impacts the quality of the learning experience but also stalls the developer’s own professional growth, leaving them at a disadvantage in a field that increasingly values creativity, innovation, and independence.

Solution
To address this challenge, I developed the "Design for Non-Designers" curriculum, a self-paced, modular training program specifically designed for state trainers and presenters. This curriculum, created using Articulate Rise and enhanced with custom videos and resources developed in Adobe Creative Suite, offers practical and easily applicable design guidance. The six-module course covers foundational topics such as visual hierarchy, typography, layout, color theory, and the effective use of stock images—equipping non-designers with the tools they need to create compelling and visually engaging content independently.

Project Roles:
